Sunita Williams: Landed safely on earth
Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams and astronaut Butch Wilmore safely returned to Earth after a nine-month stay aboard the International Space Station. Their Crew Dragon spacecraft landed off the coast of Florida, and they were taken to NASA's Johnson Space Center for medical examinations to help them adjust to Earth's gravity.

Indian-origin Sunita Williams and another astronaut Butch Wilmore finally managed to land safely on Earth. After staying in space for about 9 months, both of them reached Pudami safely with two other astronauts. The Crew Dragon spacecraft flying from the International Space Station (ISS) landed in the sea water off the coast of Florida at 3:27 am on Wednesday. NASA employee Sunita Williams and another astronaut Butch Wilmore were taken to Johnson Space Center in Houston. They will undergo medical examination there. Experts will help them adjust to Earth's gravity again.
Sunita and Wilmore went to the ISS in the Boeing spacecraft 'Starliner', which was launched on June 5 last year. According to the plan, they were to reach Earth in 8 days. However, Starliner had technical problems and it returned to Earth without astronauts. Since then, Sunita and Wilmore have remained in the ISS. After several attempts in nine months, SpaceX departed from the ISS in Crew Dragon.
The undocking procedure was carried out at 10:15 am Indian time on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, the engines ignited and the Crew Dragon re-entered the Earth's atmosphere. NASA broadcast live footage of its landing.
